Programs and ages

What is the youngest age my child can join?

Day care and creche accepts children from six months. The first preschool class, Play Group, is for children aged 1.5 to 2 years.

How do I choose between Play Group and Pre-Nursery?

As a guide, Play Group is for children aged 1.5–2 years and Pre-Nursery for 2–3 years. During your visit, the team will spend a little time with your child and suggest the class where they are likely to feel most at home.

How many children are in each batch?

Every program, from Play Group through Grade 2 and day care, runs in batches of up to 15 children.

How long are the preschool classes?

Play Group, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, UKG, Grade 1 and Grade 2 each run for four hours, from 8:45 AM to 12:45 PM. If you need a longer day, day care is flexible from three to nine hours.

Does the centre offer Grade 1 and Grade 2?

Yes. Grade 1 (6+ years) and Grade 2 (7+ years) are offered in the same batches of 15, so children can continue in a familiar setting after UKG.

Is the preschool Montessori?

The centre has a dedicated Montessori Lab, and Montessori materials are a regular part of the week. The overall approach is the Discover First Step Dynamically Balanced Curriculum, which is NEP and NCF aligned and combines hands-on work with play, movement and early academics.

Curriculum and learning

What does “NEP and NCF aligned” mean for young children?

India's National Education Policy and National Curriculum Framework describe the early years as a foundational stage in which children learn most naturally through play, activity, conversation and exploration. Our curriculum is designed around those principles rather than rote learning.

What are the three pillars of the Dynamically Balanced Curriculum?

Creative Thinking, Self & Social Intelligence, and Academic Mastery. Lesson plans make sure each week gives time to all three. Read more on our curriculum page.

Is self-defence training suitable for preschoolers?

It is introduced in an age-appropriate way. For young children, the emphasis is on confidence, body awareness and personal safety. Ask the team to explain how sessions work for your child's age group.

How will I know what my child is learning?

The centre follows structured parent–teacher interaction, so conversations about your child's progress are planned rather than squeezed into drop-off. Teachers can also show you the lesson plan for your child's class.
