A centre designed around children, and around parents' questions

When parents walk around a preschool, they tend to ask the same things. Can I see what's happening? What will my child eat? Where do they sleep? Is there enough space to run around? This page answers those questions for our centre in DLF Phase 3, Sector 24, space by space. Nothing replaces seeing it in person, though, so we hope you'll visit.

A few principles run through every room. Classrooms are open, conducive learning centres where children can see what's on offer and move between activities. Washrooms are built at child height, so independence starts from the very first weeks. There is a deliberate mix of busy spaces for climbing and bouncing and calmer ones for reading, art and rest. And the two things parents ask about most, food and visibility, are handled in-house, through our own kitchen and live CCTV streaming.

Safety you can see

Live CCTV streaming

Classrooms and activity areas are covered by live CCTV streaming, so parents can check in during the day. It is one of the most-asked-about features for working parents, and it helps a great deal in the first weeks of settling in.

A strong adult-to-child ratio

Every class and daycare group is capped at 15 children, and a generous adult-to-child ratio is one of the brand's core commitments. Ask during your visit how many adults are with your child's age group.

Child-height washroom areas

Toilets and basins are built at a height children can reach, which supports independence and hygiene, and keeps younger children safer than adapting adult fittings.

Structured parent–teacher interaction

Parents are treated as partners. Conversations about your child's progress, wellbeing and any concerns are planned and regular, instead of being squeezed into a busy drop-off.

Food, rest and everyday care

100% nutritious in-house food. Meals are prepared in the centre's own kitchen instead of being brought in, so there's more control over what children eat and how fresh it is.

Dining area and children's kitchen. Children eat together at child-sized tables in the dining area, learning to serve, share and clear up. The children's kitchen keeps food handling inside the centre.

Sleeping area. Full-day children nap or rest in a dedicated sleeping area set aside for the purpose.

Soft, safe areas where our youngest daycare children can crawl, explore and play at their own pace.

A therapy centre for special and gifted children

The centre has a dedicated therapy centre where therapies for children with special needs, and for gifted children, take place. Children who need extra support, or extra stretch, can get it in a familiar setting, without an extra journey across Gurugram between school and therapy.

Ask the team which therapies are offered and how sessions fit around preschool and day care hours.

Play and movement zones

Young children learn through their bodies. Climbing, jumping, balancing and running build the strength and coordination that later help them sit, write and focus. These zones are part of the regular week and are used under supervision, in ways that suit each age group.

A checklist for your centre visit

Whichever preschool or daycare you are considering in Gurugram, these are useful things to look for and ask about. We're happy to be judged against all of them.

  • Ask how parents access the CCTV stream, and which rooms and hours it covers.
  • Look at the washrooms: are they child-height, clean, and easy for children to reach unaided?
  • Visit the kitchen and dining area, and ask how meals are planned and how allergies are handled.
  • Count the children in a class and the adults with them.
  • See where full-day children sleep, and ask how rest time is supervised.
  • Watch the movement zones in use, and ask how equipment is matched to age.
  • Ask how and how often teachers will talk to you about your child's progress.
