Preschool Admission in DLF Phase 3, Gurgaon: Play Group to Grade 2 & Daycare
Admission starts with a conversation and a walk around the centre. Here is how it works, what to bring and how to help your child settle.

How admission works, step by step
Whether you are looking for nursery admission in DLF Phase 3, a first Play Group place or full-day care, the process is the same, and there's no pressure at any stage.
Get in touch
Call [[PHONE1]] or [[PHONE2]], send a WhatsApp message, or use the form on this page. Tell us your child's age and the kind of care you need.
Visit the centre
Book a walkthrough on a weekday or a Saturday. See the classrooms, Montessori Lab, play zones, kitchen, dining area and sleeping area, and ask about live CCTV streaming.
Find the right program
The team will talk with you, and with your child if they come along, to suggest the right class and hours: Play Group, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, UKG, Grade 1 or 2, day care, or a combination.
Complete the paperwork
Fill in the admission form and share the documents listed below. The centre will confirm seat availability, since every batch is capped at 15.
Settle in
Agree a start date and a settling-in plan. The first days are usually shorter, with time built in for your child to get to know their teachers.
Which class is right for my child's age?
Use this as a starting point. Children develop at different rates, so the team will always talk it through with you rather than go by date of birth alone.
| Program | Age | Batch size | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Play Group | 1.5–2 years | 15 students | 4 hrs |
| Pre-Nursery | 2–3 years | 15 students | 4 hrs |
| Nursery | 3+ years | 15 students | 4 hrs |
| LKG | 4+ years | 15 students | 4 hrs |
| UKG | 5+ years | 15 students | 4 hrs |
| Grade 1 | 6+ years | 15 students | 4 hrs |
| Grade 2 | 7+ years | 15 students | 4 hrs |
| Day Care / Creche | 6 months – 10 years | 15 students | 3–9 hrs (flexible) |
Also offered: after-school activities and after-school care. Ages are a guide; the team will suggest the right class after meeting your child.

What to bring for admission
Having these ready makes the paperwork quick. The centre will confirm the final list when you visit.
- A copy of your child's birth certificate
- Recent passport-size photographs of your child
- Your child's immunisation record
- Photo ID for each parent or guardian
- Address proof
- Details of anyone authorised to pick up your child
- Any medical, allergy or dietary information the team should know

Getting the most out of your centre visit
A visit is your chance to judge the things a website can't show. It helps to arrive with a few questions. These are the ones parents often find most useful:
- How many children and adults are in my child's group?
- How does live CCTV streaming work for parents?
- What does a typical day look like for my child's age?
- How are meals planned, and how are allergies handled?
- How will you keep me updated on my child's progress?
- Does the transport service cover my area?
- What does settling in look like, and how can I help at home?
Weekdays let you see classes and daycare in action. Saturdays are quieter, with day care running and no preschool classes, which suits parents who can't get away during the working week.
If you're comparing several preschools around DLF Phase 3, try to visit each one at a similar time of day so you're comparing like with like. Jot down a few notes straight after each visit: how your child was greeted, how calm the rooms felt, and whether your questions got clear, direct answers. Those first impressions are often the most reliable guide.
Helping your child get ready for their first day
A little preparation at home goes a long way, especially for Play Group and Pre-Nursery children starting school for the first time.
- Talk about it positively. Mention the climbing wall, the trampoline and new friends, not "you'll be fine without me".
- Practise the routine. A week before, try waking, dressing and leaving at the time you'll need to.
- Label everything. Bags, bottles and spare clothes all tend to wander.
- Keep goodbyes short. A hug, a promise to return and a confident exit is kinder than a long, lingering farewell.
- Share what works. Tell teachers about comfort objects, words your child uses and what calms them down.
Admission questions
Should I bring my child to the centre visit?
We recommend it. Seeing how your child responds to the classrooms and play spaces helps you decide, and it helps the team suggest the right program.
What happens after the walkthrough if we decide to join?
The team will take you through the admission form and paperwork, confirm the program and hours, and agree a start date and settling-in plan with you.
What if my child cries at drop-off in the first few weeks?
It is very common and usually eases as the routine becomes familiar. Keep goodbyes short and warm, be consistent, and talk to the teacher about how your child is settling. Live CCTV streaming can reassure you in the meantime.
Can we move from a preschool class to full-day care later?
Often, yes, depending on seat availability in day care for your child's age. Speak to the centre as soon as your work pattern changes.
